Selecting the right material for the application with tightly intermeshing co-rotating twin screw extruders is hugely dependent on the tribological system. Here, particular experience is required in the area of materials and process engineering.

Extricom will be happy to help you select the right material for your process, for screw elements, kneading blocks, mixing elements, barrels and shafts.

There are over 430 materials and more than 170 different heat and/or surface treatments and coatings to choose from.

In cooperation with you and according to your special process requirements, we will select the material suitable for your process/tribological system in order to reduce wear.
